JOIN NOW!HERE'S WHY YOU NEED THIS IN YOUR LIFE...
Teaching 4th and 5th-grade reading can be a challenge,
especially if you run up against these common roadblocks:

Engaging students who seem uninterested, unmotivated, and uninspired by anything but their phones or friends.

Managing multiple reading levels and meeting each student's needs. It feels like trying to be in 10 places at once: impossible.

Feeling overwhelmed by the pressure to meet state standards – because those standards wait for no one!

Finding effective strategies and routines that can be easily added to your daily instruction. Emphasis on EASY.
This event is designed to tackle these challenges head-on, so you can stop whispering “PLEASE let this be a good day” as you step into school each morning.
Instead, imagine a classroom where your students are engaged in their reading tasks, the lessons feel impactful, and your confidence and energy in teaching are back to being large and in charge!Â

I love all your materials and love what you do for educators (streamline information and provide resources we can use to remediate or extend the learning of our students).

All the talk and expectations that come with SOR can be very intimidating. Your instruction is straight forward and highly adaptable and so easy to implement. Thanks to you and your team!

The event (format & delivery, as well as the content, and the toolkit) was valuable and exceeded expectations!

I sometimes struggle with transitioning from large to small group. I love teaching in small group but I needed a better flow for how to ensure all groups manage their time independently but still have quality time with me. The six steps you listed were the key for me.

I have struggled for years with small group independent work time. No matter how I much I made routines/procedures, went over them. They were a management nightmare. Something that was said in the course was to only have students complete one task then switch. That was like a light bulb moment. It seems so much less stressful to have everyone do the same thing, even if it is differentiated, now I don’t have to stress as much and hopefully it will be easier to manage with behaviors.

I am a 1st year teacher. Content was relevant and straight to the point. The best part I liked was the videos because it puts into practice the information that was discussed and I was able to "see" that. I can't express how important that was for me. I'll be honest about how I am feeling right, excitement but nervous, but after viewing IGNITE Your Reading Instruction I'm nervous still but I feel better and more confident today.
